I am a landscape painter. I love to travel and paint the American West. Plein Air painting {painting outdoors} is a joy and a learning tool to improve my studio paintings. My goal is for you the viewer to want to go into the painting, feel the beauty, know what the weather is, feel the warmth of the sun or the dampness of the fog or mist and the peace of the location.
I am spending the summers now in Kalispell, Montana. Glacier National Park is only 30 miles away. The scenery is beautiful, the weather cool and we love it. This is our second year in Kalispell and we will be back next summer. I will soon be adding a number of plein air pieces to my website and they will be available in the fall.
