I travel and paint the American West. Plein Air painting {painting outdoors} is a joy and a learning tool to improve my studio paintings. My goal is for you the viewer to want to go into the painting, feel the beauty, know what the weather is, feel the warmth of the sun or the dampness of the fog or mist and the peace of the location.
I am snuggled in for the winter in Texas doing studio paintings. It won't be long in Texas before I will be painting again on location.
I am currently in a great show at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport in the Rental Car Building. If you can I recommend going to the show. There are 20 artists and 73 paintings. To see the show go to www.douglasbclark.blogspot.com. Doug arranged for the show and took lots of great pictures.
I am available for COMMISSIONS. I can paint commissions in all sizes up to very large, ex.40x60. I work with my clients on the scene, paint a small sketch to make sure we are in agreement as to the expectation, and than complete the commission.
Some of my work is available in prints at: http://claudia-davis.artistwebsites.com.
Thank you for viewing my website. My paintings are available unframed and include shipping. I have a new blog: www.claudiadavisstudio.blogspot.com. Check out to see the paintings I am working on.
I am a member of Artists of Texas and Contemporary Fine Art International. You can see beautiful art at www.artistsoftexas.org. and www.contemporaryfineartinternational.com.
